"Decent guide if you just want the basics"
The guide was okay overall and seemed to know a fair bit, but the whole thing felt a little rushed. If you’re just looking for a quick overview, it’s probably fine, but I would’ve liked a bit more time and detail.

"Accessibility help didn’t really help"
I tried contacting greylines.com.au before booking to ask about accessibility support, it was frustrating. The replies took a while, and when they did come through, they didn’t really answer what I was asking, which kind of defeats the purpose. I had to repeat myself more than once, and even after all that, I still wasn’t confident the trip would actually work for me. If you need clear access info before making plans, this was not reassuring at all.

Not gonna lie, the day was a bit disappointing. The bus showed up late, and once the tour finally got going, everything felt rushed and kind of unorganized. I was hoping for a smoother experience

"Kind of hit or miss for sightseeing"
I was hoping this would cover more of the big attractions, but it felt a bit thin. Some parts were useful, but a lot of the main sights I wanted still had to be booked separately. It might work for some people, but for me it was hit or miss and didn’t feel totally worth it...

"Cancelled my trip and I’m still waiting on the refund"
I booked a tour and then had to cancel it, which I knew might take a little time, so I followed the refund steps on their website and figured it would be straightforward. The weird part is, every time I got a reply, it felt like a different person was giving me a different answer, and none of it really moved things along.
It’s been weeks now and I still haven’t seen the money come back. I get that companies can be busy, but the slow responses and lack of clear communication made the whole thing way more frustrating than it needed to be. I probably wouldn’t book with them again.

"The bus just felt really dirty"
The ride didn’t feel great. The seats had crumbs around and the windows were all smudged up, so the whole bus just kind of gave off this unclean feeling. I don’t know, it just felt like it hadn’t really been cleaned before we got on. Disappointing overall.

"Decent coach, but not the comfiest..."
The coach was clean enough, and the seats were alright for a shorter trip... but after a while, I did start to feel a bit uncomfortable. Legroom was average, and the ride was a little bumpier than I expected. It wasn’t bad overall... I just thought it would be a bit more comfortable.

"I reached out to Grey Lines..."
I reached out to Grey Lines with a simple booking question, it took several days to hear anything back. Compared with most travel companies I’ve dealt with, where you usually get at least some kind of quick response, this felt really slow. I ended up chasing them more than once, which got frustrating fast.
When they finally did reply, it didn’t really answer what I’d asked, so I was still left trying to figure things out on my own. Maybe others have had a smoother experience, but for me the customer service just didn’t measure up to what I’d expect, and I probably wouldn’t use them again unless they improve that

"Misleading wording around the prices"
The booking itself was fine, but the way the prices were worded felt misleading. At first it looked like one amount, then later on I had to stop and double-check what was actually included and what wasn’t. I don’t mind paying the full cost, I just want it shown clearly from the start. Not a terrible experience, but definitely annoying.

"The tour itself was good, and..."
The tour itself was good, and our driver definitely knew a lot, which my sister and I appreciated. That said, the organization could’ve been better. Our pickup time changed, and we didn’t get much clear information beforehand, so it felt a bit confusing at the start. Everything worked out in the end, but parts of the day felt a little rushed and messy.

"Not really worth the money"
i ended up paying more than I thought I would, and it just didn’t feel worth it. The service was fine, but nothing about it stood out for the price. I’ve had better experiences elsewhere for less, so I probably wouldn’t be in a hurry to book again.

I booked with Grey Lines and felt safe the entire trip. The driver seemed careful, the bus was clean enough, and the seat belts worked properly. The only thing I didn’t love was that the pickup felt a little rushed, but that wasn’t a huge deal. Overall, I’d say it was a good experience and I’d use them again.

"The bus being late kind of..."
The bus being late kind of threw off the whole experience for me. We were just standing around waiting, and there weren’t really many updates, so it started to feel like, okay, are we leaving soon or what’s going on? Once the tour actually got started it was fine, nothing terrible, but the schedule felt kind of messy and all over the place. I probably would’ve enjoyed it more if the timing had been better, because the waiting around really got annoying after a while.

"Good stops, but a little too rushed"
We hit most of the main spots, which was nice. Easy enough to follow too. But yeah… some parts felt really rushed, like we’d just get there and already be moving on. Then a couple other stops felt like they went on longer than they needed to. Kind of uneven. I did like the variety, though. Good mix of places. Just wish there had been more breathing room for photos, and more time for lunch. Overall not a bad experience, just feels like the timing could be planned out better

"Pickup and drop off were a hassle"
The pickup was inconvenient. I had to make my own way to a spot that wasn’t close by, which kind of defeats the purpose when you’re paying for a tour

Drop off wasn’t great either. We were left somewhere that wasn’t easy to get back from, so it ended up adding extra time and stress to the day
For the price, I expected the whole thing to be smoother. I probably wouldn’t use Greylines again unless they make pickup and drop off easier
